Seattle U Student Housing

project description

Seattle University’s Vi Hilbert Hall 10-story Student Housing Development covers 145,000 square footage. This Student Housing development consists of 127 units with 1, 2, and 4 bedrooms. With the tight housing market in Seattle, the new hall will make it easier for the University to compete with other schools. Howard S. Wright, A Balfour Beatty Company was the GC on this project.

Howard S. Wright selected Scott Coatings as the painter of choice on this project. We have had a great relationship with HSW for years now so this project was a representation of the trust and relationship that is there. Scott Coatings’ scope of work consisted of the painting of walls, ceilings, doors, frames, concrete sealer, and stair steel. There was a big push towards the end of the project where Scott Coatings was able to bring on 40 painters on-site to get the project completed on time. Overall it was a great project with our longstanding partners.
