Heron’s Key
project description
Heron’s Key is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on 18 acres of land in Gig Harbor, WA. Heron’s Key is the first Life Care CFCC in Pierce County. The first phase of the community includes 184 independent living apartments and 10 independent cottages, 36 assisted living suites, and 45 skilled nursing private rooms. This community also contains multiple dining venues, a salon and barbershop, nature walking trails, a fitness center, and a health care center.
The Weitz Company selected Scott Coatings as the painter of choice for this senior living community project. We were given the task of painting all of the interior and exterior of this project which included wallcovering and painting of the FCP. We really enjoyed our partnership with this GC on this project. At the time this was Scott Coatings’ biggest project so there was a learning curve with the workflow of this project lifecycle. Overall the project turned out great for Scott Coatings and The Weitz Company. Great project but an even better partnership.
